I had a fantastic experience with Hopey Bicycle Repairs after taking my Canyon Endurace CF SL in for a groupset upgrade. He fitted a full Shimano groupset for me, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish.
Communication was great throughout – he explained the options clearly and made sure everything would work perfectly with the bike. The quality of the installation was excellent: clean cable routing, precise setup, and the shifting now feels incredibly smooth. The bike rides like new.

Great service from Chris, Sorted my gearing issue out on my old bike I use on turbo. Diagnosed the fault, helped me source replacement parts. Turned up on time as promised. Would defo recommend.

he has a van so comes to your house which is much better than trying to get your old cronky bike to someone and home again without it!
Two bikes expertly fettled by Chris - hubs & headsets greased, new B/Bs fitted, new cables, new hydraulic fluid - ready for what Mother Nature can throw at them. Chris is always in demand so you may have to wait a little while but it’s certainly worth it in the end.
Mended/serviced both my MTB and road bike many times! Flexible, helpful, knowledgeable, trustworthy and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
Contacted Hopey to come shorten some hoses and bleed my new brakes I wanted fitted. He turned up at the time he said,and the price was a lot better than lbs and I did not have to try and get my bike in the car.
I made the mistake of using a large chain brand to get new gear shifters fittted. Fitted the shifters fine but messed the gears up in the process. Chris came to my home and sorted them out for me no problems. Great service and a really helpful guy. I’ll definitely use again when needed.
